Why in society, some people, pushing aside personal interests, live with the pain of their people, their homeland? Because they have a very strong spiritual potential. Such a prophet of his Fatherland was Amir Temur, son of Amir Temur bin Mohammed Taragay Bahodirkhon. He has many names in the world, someone knows him as Amir Temur, someone as Sahibkiran or Tamerlan.

He had orders, great wealth left by his father. Like other emirs, landowners of Chagatai ulus, he could live for his own pleasure. Nevertheless, he chose a dangerous for his own life, but a glorious and great path - the path of independence. He saw his homeland free and prosperous, the nation living in the world, promising "to become a healer to his people." Amir Temur was then only 25 years old.

In the 50-60s of the XIV century, the lands of Maverannahr were divided into small domains, the political struggle between the rulers of the regions reached its apogee, the population was in poverty. Having come to power, Amir Temur was the first to call for the reconciliation of local beks. Strengthening the political position of the state, he united all the governors in a single center. A limit was placed on possible external attacks, as well as internal disputes. The country established peace and tranquility. Turkestan was freed from colonial oppression.

Amir Temur laid down the principles of a centralized, established from top to bottom on law and justice, having no contenders in the state policy of the East and Europe, in practice of improved state management that protects material, domestic, legal Teresa representatives of all social groups. Sahibkiran's appeal "command the army and the subjects of independence and property" sounded to the fullest across the country. Therefore, having come to power, Amir Temur conducted several political, economic, financial, cultural, military and similar reforms, directing them to the interests of the state, society and the people. Based on justice and the national interests of the reform influenced the internal and foreign policy of the state, increasing its international prestige. All branches of the national economy were rapidly developing. Created areas, new land improvement structures, rise in farming culture. The cities of Maverannahr, having changed their social appearance, expanded, improved, turned into large-scale artisan and trade, cultural and administrative centers. Turkey has become known as a large economic zone. The material well-being of the population has improved. The difference between Amir Temur and other government figures was that during his whole life he was busy with creative affairs, lived with the cares of the improvement and unity of his country. The moralizing words “where I took one brick, put ten, cut one tree, plant ten saplings” left by this great person to us for edification, confirm this.

            Culture is formed and developed only on the basis of the economy. If you rely on this logical law, in the 80-90s of the XIV century - the beginning of the XV century, Turkestan from the point of view of economy, culture was the most developed center. His culture and science developed rapidly on the basis of a progressive economy. From all over the East, large scientists arrived in Samarkand, settled here and worked fruitfully. The state created all the material and living conditions for their life and work. For example, the Arabian historian Ibn Kholdun, meeting with Sahibkiran on the lands of Shom (Syria), admired Amir Temur and agreed to go to Samarkand.

Major scholars and scholars Hofiz Abru, Ibn Arabshoh, Abdurazzko Samarkandiy, Alisher Navoi, Zahriddin Bobur and others who wrote a large amount of information in their works provided scholars, representatives of culture and art with sponsorship.

In a country of developed economic principles, cultural values ​​are high. In the period of Amir Temur’s reign, both the state and the society had their own strong spiritual foundations. The society was governed by the requirements of law and justice, the precepts of the Islamic religion and the teachings of the nakshbandi. All this testified to his spiritual perfection. Phrase said by Sahibkiran ‘One ninth of governmental issues are solved by diplomacy and only one part by sword’ is evidence of spiritual condition of society. 

The spiritual principles were also based on Islamic values, and religion played the role of ideology. In The Layout, Temur wrote: “everywhere and always supported the Islamic religion.” This determined its place and role in society. The commander always acted on the basis of Allah and conscience.

The active foreign policy of the country is largely connected with the level of its internal social, economic, cultural development. This is a social axiom that has passed through centuries of verification. He understood well that it was impossible to achieve international authority without cooperation with other countries. The state of Amir Temur maintained trade and economic relations with China, India, Egypt, France, Spain, Italy, England which are proved by specific historical information and documents. Amir Temur often repeated “the world will become well-arranged owing to the merchants”. His goal was to create a single inter-state trade and economic zone. For example, in a letter to the king of France, Charles VI, Sahibkiran wrote: “Send your traders to my kingdom. We will meet them warmly, we will show honor and respect. We will also send our merchants to your edges. You, too, give them respect, but do not let the excess pressure. "

Only people endowed with a great spiritual potential are capable of realizing great ideas, deeds of importance to the people, the country. The strength of the spiritual potential of the founder and leader of the independent and strong state of Turkistan, Amir Temur was clearly manifested in its economic, financial, political, legal activities, attitude to secular and religious sciences, culture, literature, art, architecture. The purity of Sahibkiran's spirituality was expressed in his extremely modest and sharp word, favorable attitude towards princes and princesses, simpler large and small opponents, recognition of the mistakes committed by people, manifestation of special respect for people of any class, position, even in royal rage, based on justice. During his life, he erected many cities, madrasahkhs, mausoleums, fortresses, palaces, gardens, irrigation facilities, roads, bridges. He called them the names by grandchildren, palace princesses where no construction possess the name of Amir Temur because  Sahibkiran himself prevented this.

Spirituality develops on the basis of material food. Over time, it’s going beyond the property of people, Temur went beyond the framework of one person, becoming a global social principle.

Sahibkiran elevated his homeland, people, politics, economics, culture, spirituality. Reached the height of greatness together with his nation.  Nor history neither future forgets people, sacrificed own life in the purpose of independence or development their nation, Motherland, who became well-known over the world. Amir Temur is historical, unforgettable personality, genius embodiment of the Uzbek nation and symbol of spiritual power.
